America Approved's vision is to leverage advances made in electronics that will allow unattended operation and interfacing with the commercial power grid.
Micro Turbine systems have many advantages over reciprocating engine generators such as:- Higher power densities - footprint and weight
- Extremely low emissions
- Few if or just one moving part
- Air cooling operates without oil or other hazardous materials
Micro Turbines also have the advantage of having the majority of their waste heat contained in their relatively high exhaust temperature, allowing for efficient heat recovery, whereas the waste heat of reciprocating engines is split between its exhaust and cooling system. Micro Turbines accept most fuels such as gasoline, natural gas, propane, diesel and kerosene as well as renewable fuels such as E85, bio diesel and biogas. Typical Micro Turbine efficiencies are 25 to 35%. When waste heat recovery is added efficiencies of greater that 80% are commonly achieved. If you qualify, America Approved will finance 100% of your Micro Turbine project.
