Close BioJon Gilbert serves as the Vice President of Sales for America Approved, LLC (AMA). Mr. Gilbert's roles is to train, motivate and work one-on-one with all of the AMA energy consultants to help them close deals, and he's very good at it! In a short period of time he has risen to the top of the energy industry as one the nation's top producers in energy sales!
Jon began his career in the defense industry where he became the Director of Procurement for a half-a-billion-dollar company in California.
In 1994, Jon started a tele-communications company to take advantage of opportunities developing in the recently deregulated telecom industry (very similar to what is happening in the energy market today). His company provided prepaid calling cards under his own platform. He developed alliances with all the major long distance carriers. Once Jon grew the company into millions of dollars in revenue, he sold the business in 2000 and moved his family to Florida.
In 2000, Jon started his second company that manufactured structural cabling for the telecom industry. Projects included high-rise buildings and other large commercial projects. He sold that company in January 2008.
Jon has a passion for exceeding the expectations of clients and accomplishes this through his rigorous and diligent training of all of our AMA energy consultants.
Jon currently resides in Ft. Myers, Florida with his two daughters.
